My Class XII

This was another class I taught last semester and another bunch of wonderful kids

My class X

I taught class X-B since June 2010 and I taught class X-A briefly but I was able to connect with many students from X-A and I was so glad that they all showed up for this group picture. A wonderful bunch of kids. I wish I could have spend more time with them as I was unable to come during month of Feb to help them more but putting that aside I do think I was able to inculcate some love for math in them and hopefully their performance especially class X-B will be great in boards exam.

Holi

It was after more than 7 years I celebrated holi.

Shortest Path to beach

This problem is about a person sitting inside a peninsula which makes an acute angle. What is the shortest path he should take so that he can visit both the beaches and back to his home. Here I have used Kseg to illustrate the analysis for both
cases when the angle is acute
and when obtuse

Few days back I saw the Salman Khan coming up with his team. This signals to me a tectonic shift in education. I don't know if people really realize that what Salman Khan is doing and how radically its going to change the way our class rooms are conducted today. I would say he might go down in the history as someone who single handedly raised the IQ of billions of people and how people view education and learn.
