Fooling masses
I just read an article written by some crone of big retail giant in nytimes. The question is does all the big multinationals are good for the economy lecturing country and I think the answer is no ad evident from the stayevof united states economy. Where big businesses have such a strangle hold on the economy that small stores have virtually disappears. They like toflaubt their high per capita income but it is only because they have some of the biggest companies. It's a true fact that Americans are far poorer than they portray that to the outside world. They gave been conditioned to think in terms of poorer countries as just people living in less than dollar a day and having access to prescription drug. It would be amply clear if someone does the analysis of percentage of their income Americans spend on insurance, communication, health service, food and the money they are left after that to really spend on things they really want to do.
