Reflection on past 2 days in India

Its now 2 days since I am in India. Yesterday I went to Nai Sarak to look for the abstract algebra book by Farleigh and the art of problem solving. Unfortunately I couldn't find art of problem solving anywhere. I also drove my stick shift car today in the morning and went to ridge for the morning walk.

Delhi has changed a lot. It is far too crowded and the problem of pollution has aggravated. The subway is very nice and on par with the similar construction in Singapore. The dishes have mushroomed every where and in my house I now get over 200 channels at meagre $4 and it includes BBC, CNN, HBO, Star Movies and plethora of paid channels which would cost upward of $70 in US. We get what is called I.P tv. Photo copying is lot cheaper. I got myself a book printed and bound for $5 whereas in US I had paid $5 just for binding. Broadband internet service is not bad. I have sufficient bandwidth to watch online lecture. Everyone around seems to have nicer cellphones with internet connectivity and much descent cameras.
