Only Mathematicians are true believer rest all fake it

"Only Mathematicians are true believer rest all fake it". Well I been thinking about this for a while and when I say mathematicians it does encompass anybody who gets enchanted with the beauty of proofs. Its always so humbling experience to look at the works of all these people and its a joy to rediscover those proofs for oneself when one goes over those and this is one reason when you think about other subjects which don't have that kind of structure to many of us seem like just cramming some facts. There is no first hand joy of discovery and so when you see them talking about God, it gives a amusing feeling to me. Since they are always had to make statement about how much they love god.

Just some thought

things done today

Dear Sumant,

Today I had 519 test and then I had dinner at my house with Roy. We also watched "Gulliver Travels" I borrowed from Carbondale Library. The movie had two parts in the beginning its a little slow but then it picks up the pace. I got few more books for pleasure reading including one awesome book called "Tree of life". It's on darwin. I did browse that book and its similar in style to one written on Leonardo.

That's for now

Things I packed in last weekend.

Dear Sumant,

Today is monday and I am updating this blog from the computer in Student Center. Since the break started I attended "WoodBox Gang" show at Hangar 9. Watched "Bourne Identity", "Bourne Supremacy", "50 First Dates", "Pochahantas" and "Blades of Glory". Cooked Chick Peas curry for the gettogether. Went to the Buddhist discussion group at Unitarian Church, attended the sunday mass at Vine Church and now going to Barnes and Noble for reading and revising stuff. One good experience was watching Basketball game against Nothern Illinois at arena. The leg is getting better and I like it.

Thanksgiving break about to begin

Dear Sumant,

Its November 15, 2007 and Thanksgiving break starts from tomorrow. I have a 519 homework due tomorrow. I am hoping Honey Bhaiya visits me tonight. I am making staeady improvement with my leg. I am walking without crutches. It will still take a while to start running or playing but then its only 2 months since that happen. It will probably take another few months when the effect of injury disappear. As usual I have lots of plans for the break. Hopefully I will finish Metric Space's at least three chapters. I have already read one. Should be able to finish Adolf by Tezuki and Franklin's Autobiography. I am also determine to finish the GAP tutorial on rings. I am liking Gallian's Contemporary Abstract Algebra and break should provide me time to go over its many exercises. In 475 I should be finishing reading the theory and simulating more algorithms on Octave. Especially minimax and Chebyshev polynomials. I should be ready with the article on "You tube" and the trends I forsee in education revolution for Daily Egyptian.

That's for now
Best regards
